NYC in January... 2nd Day...

It's still really cold here but we all ventured out for awhile today.  Son and Daughter-in-law had work outings but late in the day there was time for a short outing to Bay Ridge in Brooklyn to visit some dear friends Irom a couple doors away who still live in the same home as when we lived there for 4 years in the late 70's.

Since it's already close to midnight, I'll just add some photos to show the day we've had together in Brooklyn, NY.
Started the day writing and...
drawing...

Then on to playing with Papa's phone apps....
So cold here that extra sweaters and bundling are needed before venturing out...

Dropped Mama off for rehearsal with the Brooklyn Children's Choir...
172 81st Street - our home for 4 years in the late 70's
The home with which we shared a driveway which was severely damaged by a devastating fire several months ago...
Stopped to visit the Donohues.  Two grandchildren were there to welcome Cozzie.
This sweet 8 year old was an immediate best friend for Cozzie.
All grandmothers have hidden treasures when little ones show up...
Reminiscing brought laughter and fun...
We met this girt's mother when that mother was 6 years old and this daughter is a clone of that little girl...
Short but sweet visit...  Very warm welcome on a super cold day...
Phil and Ann will always be some of our most favorite friends.  Great memories of shared experiences many years ago.
A bedtime snack and story...
Special moments to keep our friendship strong...
