Getting Camp Underway...

Arrived at camp around 10 this morning with our supplies and plans.  Got started with singing in the gazebo with a full floor of kids eagerly joining in.

My plan for tonight is to get to bed earlier so I'm getting this blog underway during our afternoon lunch break.
Ms. Lucia came to help the 21 little boys get organized to create their nametags during group time with James Ellis.
Ms. Alisa had a sweet group of young ladies.
Another sweet group of little girls with Ms. Marjorie.

Natasha handled the translator duties and was a great gal.
Middle aged girls getting their nametags made with Galina as the translator.
John, Gary and Stephen had 19 middle aged boys!  Great help from Danic.

The only group with tables...
Oldest boys gathered on a hillside with John and Costel...  19 future leaders in Moldova.
Lesley took her oldest girls to the hillside also.  She is great with the 22 girls who joined her.
Your men learning about Joseph, son of Jacob...

Making nametags...
Getting roles assigned for Joseph story...

Rehearsal...

Surrounded by precious children...

Oldest girls chose the name "Dreams" for their ensemble which shared a song during Gazebo Time tonight.

Ready to take the stage....  Joseph and his brothers...

Not impressed with the dream being shared by little brother....

And then the stars and the moon and the sun....
Handsome young men...
Supper on the table as soon as we arrived home....
It's been a good day but I must get some sleep.

What a great start to your week! Sounds like things went smoothly.
Was the attendance today a greater than average number? It appears that way to me, even though some of the same children are probably in several pictures. Does the daily attendance vary? I'm assuming each child stays for the whole day. I would think they would want to. The pictures convey attentive & cooperative children. Such sweet faces!

How inviting after a busy first day, to arrive 'home' to a delicious meal all ready for you. Hopefully you've not had to spend a lot of time preparing for tomorrow, but were able to head for bed early. The time change adjustment has to be huge.

Thank-you Lord for each child who attended today and for how you are working in their hearts.
Give The Team good rest at night, awaking each morning with renewed energy to share in your work.
We praise Your name. Amen.

In prayerful support,
Marge
