Plan B Day...

Plan B Photo...  Only one is ready for Prime Time here...
This day has unfolded unlike the plan we had.  That isn't really surprising but it has made for a number of changes in plans.

Uno underway...
For some reason we had a late start at the camp.  When we arrived some of the children were already involved in other activities - a soccer game, ping pong, UNO - to name a few.  We set up but didn't have the expected crowd of kids.  However, as we got underway, children arrived and began to participate.

A better version of the team and our translators...
Adding drama to the scripture reading...
We are ending our day feeling that it has been a good day.  There have been lots of smiles, hugs, tussles between little boys and kids loving the recreation, crafts and Adam Raccoon stories.  The big boys are acting the parts of Joseph and those in his life as we share God's truth through scriptures.

Let me share the day through captioned photos.

John Sr., Stephen and Gary with their middle aged boys...
Marjorie and her girls on their step classroom...
Alisa and her middle aged girls...

James and Josh and their youngest guys - about 20...
John Sr. and his ESL group...
Alisa and her craft group...

Maria joined us as a helper so we could connect...
Miss Galina joined Violetta on staff this year and myself on a surprise visit today...
Other surprise visitors were Alex, Radu, Ms. Galina and Sergio... Campers from years past...

How great to see these handsome guys who grew up in the orphanage and are doing quite well now...
Little girls practice with Noah and the Ark characters to use during a favorite song of everyone's...

Son John, Stephen and Alex...

Face painting by Alisa...

Coloring Joseph pages...
Waiting for Gazebo Time to start...

All rehearsed, the little girls are center stage for performance with their puppets...
A panel adds a contempory element to the Joseph story.  In today's lesson, Joseph is wrongly accused and is fired from his slave job...  These 3 have been fired from jobs and shared their stories...

We have terrific translators.  They not only translate, they lead in very energetic and effective ways.  Moldova has some terrific young, educated, godly leaders who will be amazing in whatever they do in the future.  We are so grateful for them.

Thanks for prayers.  We are being sustained and energized for our time here.  But now for some sleep...

Amidst your surprises today, God continues to fulfill His plan.
The surprise visits of Ms. Galina, Alex, Radu & Sergio were very special. How rewarding to see the impact of your work in these lives years later. I'm sure they have fond memories of their weeks at camp.

Great pictures of children engaging in planned activities!

So glad to hear you're being given physical energy to carry out this work, despite the time change!

In prayerful support,
Marge
